  RULES FOR A SUCCESSFUL KLAN

"Knock Knock" - "Who's There?"
"Goblin" - "Goblin who?"
"Goblin up 'dem dar tater tots ain't ja bigun?"

ALL KOOL KELSO KLANS - INCLUDING FEEDERS
(CLAN WAR rules, scroll down)

1. NO CURSING - NO bad words, no "sounds like" bad words, no misspellings of bad words allowed, no initials or acronyms, etc.  Coarse joking or dirty talk is not tolerated and violating members will be kick'd immediately.  Klan chat is not the place to vent or share the latest dirty joke you heard.  Nor is it a place to put dirty words or any slang usage.  No taking God's name in vein either! or any slang thereof.

2.  NO DISRESPECT - Members who show any level of disrespect to the Klan Leader, Klan Elders or other members will be kik'd.  The chat room is not a place to "air out" your daily frustrations on another member.  Be respectful and kind to others.  This includes questioning "why" someone was kik'd or demoted or promoted.  DO NOT TALK DOWN TO ANOTHER MEMBER or say any negative or derogatory remarks.  NEVER QUESTION THE LEADER'S DECISION.

3.  STAY ACTIVE - This is judged by your donation count and activity in chat.  While it is not necessary to be "chatty," it is necessary to say "thank you" to the person who donated to you.  It is also important to meet the Klan minimums in donations and weekly goals.  If you have to be offline for a few days, let your Klan Leaders know in advance so that you are not mistakenly kick'd.  All members should log in each day to donate troops if nothing else.  Logging in several times a day is encouraged to ensure an active and successful klan.

4.  LEADER CONTROL - At no time is an elder allowed to promote or kick another member.  This is handled by the Klan Leader only.  If this rule is violated all parties involved are immediately dismissed.  If, however, a Klan Messenger goes to deliver a message to another Kool Kelso Klan and comes right back, then his/her eldership may be restored by another elder.

5.  ELDERS - All members of any Kool Kelso Klan begin with elder status after achieving minimum klan donate requirement.  ELDER IS YOURS TO KEEP!  If any klan requirements are not met OR rules are violated, elders will be demoted and given a grace period to meet klan requirements.  This includes current requirements and any future requirements.  If an elder is demoted, they may earn their eldership back by meeting klan requirements and upon leader's sole approval.  If an elder has been demoted to member, and even after the grace period still does not meet the qualifications or rules of the klan, then they will be sent to a feeder klan or kick'd permanently depending on the situation and up to the leader's discretion.  If  a member leaves, and was elder prior to leaving, they DO NOT RECEIVE ELDER BACK UPON RETURN without leaders permission.

6.  RECRUITING - All members are allowed to recruit new members.  Elders are expected to actively recruit new members.  When recruiting be sure new member meets Klan requirements, otherwise the new member will be kick'd or sent to a feeder klan for not meeting klan requirements.

7.  ELDER RESPONSIBILITIES - All elders should be the top donators as they should be the most active.  All elders should actively recruit.  All elders should remind others in chat about klan goals and help members achieve klan goals.  Elders should help train members and help suggest how to design good bases and make good decisions.  Elders have permission to KICK another member in only ONE situation:  there is a member who is cursing and does not stop after being warned, KICK!  There are no other reasons for an elder to KICK another member.  Elders may vary from week to week depending on activity levels in chat, training others, reminding others about website and goals, and donation count. Kool Kelso Klans collectively will pursue having the BEST ELDERS in each klan.

8.  DONATING TROOPS
- NO STACKING
- Be sure to check for any open donate requests and fill those first, then send your request.  Remember, it is better to give then to receive.
- DONATIONS ARE KEY
  - Keep wizards, dragons and archers ready in  your camps always!  These are the most requested troops!  If you are not battling, you can log in to make donations and stay active.  Be sure to thank the individual who donated to you.  LOW DONATION COUNT AT MIDSEASON IS GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL OR DEMOTION.
- RESPECT THE REQUEST!
PAY ATTENTION TO SPECIAL REQUEST AND ONLY DONATE WHAT IS REQUESTED. IT IS UP TO THE PERSON REQUESTING TO SPECIFY WHAT THEY WANT.  LIKEWISE, IT IS UP TO EVERY KLAN MEMBER TO READ THE REQUEST AND DONATE ACCORDINGLY.  IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, TRAIN IT!  BUT ONLY DONATE WHAT IS REQUESTED, NOT SOMETHING ELSE.  If you do not have that level of troop requested, ask before you donate!  When in doubt, ASK!

9.  CHAT RULES - Besides cursing, there is no tolerance for chat from any member about joining, creating, starting or hopping to another clan.  No spamming in klan chat.  No advertising products or services or other websites in klan chat. No gibberish, random texting, or space typing (blank screen) in klan chat. No arguing or bickering in klan chat.  No talking bad about another member, their village, their troops, or what they donated.  You will be kick'd immediately and without question.

10.  LEADER/COLEADER - The Founder(s) select the Klan Leaders and Klan Coleaders, and may request the assistance of the Klan Kouncil.  Leaders/Coleaders are expected to:

complete training in Top Klan,
maintain integrity and not get caught up in emotional responses to other members comments,
recruit new members daily,
keep high level in leagues status
maintain Klan size of 40 members minimum at each season end
promote the overall family environment and kare on a consistent basis, staying positive and enthusiastic

*see leadership page if interested in becoming a leader.

NOTE:  If a member is warned about breaking any of the above rules, they have an opportunity to redeem themselves with a simple apology and commitment to never let it happen again.  If there is no change or apology, then there is no other choice for the Leader but to KICK the violating member.

CLAN WAR RULES
 1. ALL MUST WAR - all klan members must raid two times... this is a warring game!  you are in a klan which means you want to be part of team!  So War with your Team!

2.  TWO RAIDS/TWO STARS EACH MINIMUM - Members need to build their best troops and strategies to get at least two stars on each raid.  Ask for help!  (hint:  LOONIONS (balloons and minions), HOGS/heal spells and DRAGONS/rage or GOWIPE!).
No GOBLINS in clan war!  We want the best warriors in our klans.. if you're not the best, we'll ship you off!  Bring your best troops!

3.  NO TOWN HALL (TH) SNIPING or LOOTING - This means you cannot raid a village just for the loot bonus where they have their town hall outside their base, or attack for a 50% loot bonus.  That is being a COWARD and we don't allow COWARDS in our KLAN! If you TH snipe or raid just for loot, you are KICKED no questions!

 4.  FIRST RAID AT WAR BEGINNING - Raid your EQUAL # OPPONENT first, the moment the war begins!  If you are #13, then you will raid #13 first.  Scout that village and plan your attack for a 3 STAR victory!  Your second raid will be on ANY PREVIOUSLY RAIDED VILLAGE you choose in order to clean up and collect more stars.  You must wait until the village has been raided by it's rightful paired number before you attack it (OR SEE RULE#8).  The only unraided village you can raid is YOUR EQUAL #.  Remember: No Looting!  You must get stars on each raid!  Only the #1 and #2 ranked klan member may opt to not raid their equal # but rather clean up on two raided villages later in the battle.  This is up to the top two guys as ranked in the war.

5.  CLAN WAR CASTLE DONATIONS - Allow the high level Klan members to donate max troops to the CWC (Clan War Castle) first.  This gives the Klan the best chance for defense!  DO NOT PUT any other troops in the CWC unless other troops are requested.

6.  FINISH THE WAR - We all war, win or lose, use all raids to maximize stars (NOT LOOT)!  Any member who leaves during a CW and does not finish their raids will not be allowed back into the Klan nor any other Kool Kelso Klans.

7.  FINAL RAID CLEAN UP - Use your second or final raid to CLEAN UP on a lower level base that has yet to be 3 STARRED. Use this last battle to get the most stars possible for you and your Klan!  Be the HERO!

8.  OPEN RAID IN LAST 12 HOURS - You can attack ANY VILLAGE in the last 12 hours of war AS LONG AS you gain extra or NEW STARS for the team!  So, if you don't want to raid your equal number first, wait until the last 12 hours of war and use both of your attacks on any base you want as long as you get new stars.  The risk is, if you don't get any stars, you might get kicked because you're not really a warrior if you wait like a sissy, now are you?!
